8th Grade Social Studies |
Hello, I am Brenda Christenson and I am teaching 8th grade U.S. History this year. In years past I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade history, language arts, math, algebra, and geometry. This is my 23th year of teaching middle school in the Berryessa district, and my 17th here in the Sierramont family. I look forward to teaching and getting to know all of you this year.
Course Content
Students enrolled in this course will be studying the history of the United States. This course is designed to align with the twelve California State Social Studies Standards for 8th grade. We will begin our class with the European exploration and settlement of America (circa 1492) and finish with the causes and events leading to WWI (circa 1914).
